Welcome to Lemon Sound! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, including all features, services, and tools offered through www.lemonsound.io (the "Platform").
By using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Lemon Sound.
1. Definitions
- "Client" refers to any user requesting music or sound services via the Platform.
- "Artist" refers to any user submitting musical works or participating in a contest.
- "Content" refers to any musical composition, sound file, message, or other material uploaded, shared, or submitted to the Platform.
2. Services Provided
Lemon Sound provides the following core services:
- Global music contests
- 1:1 artist matching and quotation comparison
- Music licensing, sales, and distribution
- Project management and consultation support
We reserve the right to add or modify services at any time.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, users must register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password
- Be fully responsible for all activities under your account
4. User Obligations
All users agree not to:
- Upload or submit any copyrighted content without proper rights
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in fraudulent, offensive, or illegal activity
- Misrepresent themselves or their qualifications
5. Intellectual Property
- All original works submitted by Artists remain the property of the Artist until a contract or license agreement is executed.
- Upon purchase or licensing by a Client, the rights and usage scope shall be defined by the contract terms (exclusive, non-exclusive, or buyout).
- Lemon Sound may retain the right to display submitted works for promotional purposes.
6. Payments and Fees
- Pricing structures for services (contest hosting, custom matching, licensing) will be clearly disclosed prior to use.
- Artists will receive payment based on finalized contract terms.
- Lemon Sound may deduct applicable service fees or commissions as agreed.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the creative nature of our services, refunds are only issued under the following conditions:
- Technical errors or duplicate charges
- No submission received during a contest (Client only)
- Artist is unable to deliver the commissioned work without notice
All refund requests must be made within 14 days.
8. Dispute Resolution
Lemon Sound will provide mediation support in the event of disputes between Clients and Artists. However, we are not liable for contract breaches or unsatisfactory deliverables unless Lemon Sound is directly responsible.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any account for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Legal violations
- Repeated user complaints or fraudulent activity
10. Privacy
Lemon Sound handles all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your data will not be shared without your consent except as required by law.
11. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the revised Terms.
