Endless Night: The Darkness Within

Endless Night: The Darkness Within is a dark, psychological Metroidvania in development for PC and console, with a planned release in Q4 2025 - Q1 2026. The game follows Jake, a man grappling with PTSD and trauma, as he journeys through shifting dreamscapes shaped by his fractured heart. As players explore nonlinear environments, unlock traversal abilities, and battle manifestations of Jake’s fears, they gradually uncover his past and piece together his lost inner self.

Core mechanics are centered around exploration, combat, and emotional progression. Every time the player dies, the dreamworld evolves—new paths emerge, secrets reveal themselves, and Jake grows closer to healing. The game features a rich narrative, RPG-style gear customization, and a symbolic heart-fragment collection system representing values like Persistence, Courage, and Forgiveness, etc.\ \ Endless Night is being developed by Little Guy Games, an experienced Toronto-based indie studio with a track record of making interesting games. The game is currently in full production, with active support from external collaborators in music, sound design, and PR.\ \ We plan to release the game on Xbox, Steam and other major consoles, including the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation), with a PC demo arriving on May 6, 2025. Wishlist campaigns, public playtesting, and event showcases (such as PAX East 2025) are core to our visibility and launch strategy.
