Lemon Sound X Musiversal Artist Recruitment Seminar & Networking Session in Seoul

Hello, Lemon Sound here.

Lemon Sound partnered with Musiversal, an online studio recording platform achieving great success in the US and Europe, to host a free seminar and networking session for artists at Dream Plus in Gangnam, Seoul.
Following our previous event, Hollywood in Korea, we were thrilled to collaborate with Musiversal, a globally active platform, and held this event with great anticipation.

This event was perfect for:

  1. Musicians dreaming of global opportunities

  2. Musicians seeking stable income

  3. Musicians wanting to work freely without location constraints

Participants had the chance to gain valuable information and connect with others.

Event Agenda

  • Pre-Networking (1 hour 30 minutes)
  • Musiversal Company Introduction & Presentation
  • Lemon Sound Company Introduction & Presentation
  • Lemon Sound Q&A
  • Networking Party

Pre-Networking Session

Before the main event began, participants from diverse backgrounds gathered for a free networking session. With not only Koreans but also people from various nationalities and industries in attendance, engaging conversations filled the room.

Company Introduction & Presentation of Musiversal

After the 1.5-hour pre-networking session, the main event kicked off.The seminar featured presentations from Musiversal and Lemon Sound, the event organizers.

Musiversal, a leading online studio recording platform thriving in the US and Europe, explained how they address the time and location constraints traditionally associated with music recording sessions.
They highlighted how their platform benefits not only session musicians but also composers needing sessions, and demonstrated how Musiversal enables high-quality online recording work.

Company Introduction & Presentation of Lemon Sound

Next, Shinjung Park, CEO of Lemon Sound spoke about:

  • What Lemon Sound does for artists
  • The types of projects they receive
  • Their work processes
  • Their vision for moving forward with artists

Since the revamp of their website, Lemon Sound has welcomed artists on their new platform. As of July 2024, over 250 artists have joined, showing significant interest.

Upon signing up as a Lemon Sound artist, musicians can automatically create their own profile page, featuring:

  • Self-introduction and career details
  • Quotes for services
  • Portfolio music/videos

This allows artists to promote their profiles efficiently.

Lemon Sound also shared details about their ongoing projects and Lemonation, including the rhythm game KALPA, which has reached 1.5 million downloads and features a 20 million KRW prize pool.

Lemon Sound believes the ideal work environment for artists includes:

  1. Fair compensation through sufficient communication
  2. Clear contracts with defined deadlines
  3. Support for artists in unexpected or unavoidable situations (via management services)
  4. Equal opportunities regardless of background, education, or connections (through Lemonation and 1:1 commission matching)
  5. Tools to promote activities and help student musicians establish themselves (e.g., profile page creation, artist support projects like interview video production)

Networking Party

After the presentations and Q&A, participants freely mingled, asking questions and receiving answers from both companies.
We were grateful to see attendees who traveled far, showed deep interest, and enjoyed connecting with musicians.

Lemon Sound is dedicated to supporting artists worldwide.
From providing the education artists need, to creating ideal work environments, to connecting artists with those who need their talents, Lemon Sound strives to ensure more artists receive great opportunities.
We plan to continue hosting events that greatly benefit artists and look forward to meeting even more artists in the future!
