Minecraft & WoW composer Grant Kirkhope joins Lemonsound
Global music sourcing platform Lemonsound has signed Grant Kirkhope, the composer behind legendary game scores including Minecraft and World of Warcraft. Korean studios can now collaborate with and license music from a composer whose titles have sold over 40 million copies cumulatively. Lemonsound handles the complex overseas contract process and supports government-funding alignment, partnering with Nexon and others.

Founder & CEO Shinjung Park (박신정) studied composition at the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) and has served as music director on 30+ projects, including the OBS documentary State Dinner (국빈만찬, 2022). She received the 2022 Korean Talent Award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The feature film You and Everything Else (당신의 모든 것), on which she served as music director, was officially selected for the 9th Canneseries — the Cannes International Series Festival (2026) — and premiered at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on April 24.
